Our Mission & Ministry
Helping Hands from the Heart is a structured, faith-based recovery and transitional living initiative operated under Gathering His Harvest Ministries. We are dedicated to helping men reintegrate back into society from incarceration or active addiction through wrap-around support focused on accountability, sobriety, and personal restoration. This is a men’s only facility, providing a supportive environment designed specifically for their recovery journey.

Our Founder – Pastor Rick Casey
Hello, my name is Rick Casey, and I am the Founder and CEO of Helping Hands Care Ministry.
Our journey began in October 2016, when I opened my personal home to care for those battling mental illness and substance abuse. Guided by the Word of God, which reminds us, “If there is a need, fill it,” I felt called to take this step—and thus, Helping Hands was born.
Over the past nine years, we have faced many trials and challenges, but today I can joyfully say that countless lives have been transformed. Individuals who once struggled with addiction now enjoy fulfilling lives with their families, meaningful employment, and—most importantly—hope for eternity.
With gratitude and humility, I can share that Helping Hands has positively impacted the lives of over 200 individuals, providing love, support, and guidance as they begin their new journeys.
