Our Mission in Action
-
At Helping Hands Ministry, we walk alongside men on their journey to healing and recovery. Through safe, structured housing and daily support, we provide the stability needed to break free from addiction and rebuild a purposeful life. Our programs focus on spiritual growth, life skills, job training, and community connection—giving every man the tools to stay sober, restore relationships, and create a brighter future.
-
At Helping Hands Ministry, we create a safe and supportive environment where men can grow beyond addiction and rebuild their lives. Our goal is to help each man grow in confidence, purpose, and hope for a brighter, independent future.
-
At Helping Hands Ministry, we provide the support men need not just to recover, but to thrive. Through safe housing, faith-based guidance, and practical life skills programs, residents gain the stability and confidence to overcome addiction, rebuild relationships, and create a meaningful future. Our mission is to help every man move beyond survival into a life of purpose, growth, and lasting success.
-
Currently, Helping Hands from the Heart is a men’s only facility. However, we recognize the importance of providing recovery and transitional living opportunities for women as well. An all-women’s facility is in our future plans, and we are working toward expanding our services to meet this need.
-
Transitional sober living provides a structured, supportive environment after treatment. Unlike inpatient rehab, it focuses on helping residents practice independence while maintaining accountability and continued recovery support.
-
Length of stay varies by individual needs. Some residents stay for a few months, while others may remain up to a year or longer as they build stability in recovery, employment, and mental health.
-
Yes. Transitional sober living often integrates access to therapy, support groups, and referrals to mental health professionals to address co-occurring disorders alongside addiction recovery.
-
Residents can expect curfews, peer accountability, house meetings, life skills training, and ongoing support for employment, education, and relapse prevention. The goal is to prepare for independent living while maintaining sobriety and mental wellness.

Turning Trials into Testimonies
“I’ve been apart of Helping Hands care ministry for 6 years now! Prior to joining the program I lived a life of chaos, disorder, and with no hope of what my future looked like. Throughout my journey with Helping Hands I’ve finally realized what my future looks like, and what God has in store for me! I am so thankful for Helping Hands and their staff for allowing me to become apart of their family and to actually have a place that I can call home.
God truly works in mysterious way!!.”

“I went through Pastor Rick Casey's program "Helping Hands Care Ministry" for 2 years he got me closer to God and took me off the streets and kept me out of jail. Also provided a family oriented positive environment. Allowing me to work and have a place to come home to. He and the staff do whatever they can to help someone who really needs it.”

“I have tried several sober living facilities in my 11 year journey to become sober, as someone identified as an addict, I was offered a chance to join Helping Hands Care ministry. Currently I’m 30 days sober and I would not be here without the way Helping Hands conducts its program. N/A 7 days a week, Church and people who really do care. People that truly have a heart and desire to help me succeed and with that I will be a success on my journey of recovery.”
